We had a fab night out and tonight we are off out for another meal - this time a family one to celebrate Lees nanas birthday..oohh i do love it when I dont have to cook..

Here are a few snaps from last night...

Nicole and me..
Everyone!

This is a card that I made for Nicole from Jack, as she was one of his teachers! She loved it..I dont normally 'do' cards, but latley I have made a few and I think they have turned out alright..

..and another card! Its another lady from works birthday soon, and I was asked to make a big card for lots of us to sign...so I did, its A4 size. I used a sheet of Prima paper (with the flowers on) it was perfect for her - as she works in the garden at our nursery!
I hope the girls at work like it...

And lastly, here is a shot of all of the projects that I have been working on, I have done no scrapbooking pages this week, so Im looking foward to that for next week..
I hope the recipients of these items love them as much as I enjoyed making them! Something a little different for me but I loved doing it...now back to scrapbooking!!!

Catch Up!

oooooo...havent blogged for a little while...so heres a catch up!
Firstly here is a little pic of a few bits that I brought yesterday, mainly for a few projects that I am working on at the moment..will explain more in a bit...LOVE scrapy shopping!

Here are a couple of pictures of bits of pages that I have recently completed.
As much as I love my camera it really isnt that good at taking indoor pictures in the evening..must try and work on that!
This clip is from a page using Bo Bunny papers and I used it to scrap Jack meeting Santa..

This one uses Basic Grey - June bug papers - it is the very last page from my album of our holiday in Majorca! So thats another project finnished! I have made the flowers using the EK success retro flower punch. First punching out from one of the papers and the second on a piece of accetate. I then ran the piece of assetate through the cuttlebug in an embossing folder :)

Another page from my boss' baby shower, a lovely evening..and this was the page that I made using a couple of the pictures. I wanted to make the journalling quite centeral on this page as the pictures arent typical baby shower pics..

The snowflakes are made using the Martha Stuart snowflake punch...

My page that I made using the pictures from the first lot of snow that we had in December..
Again using the same punch as in the previous page, and the Cosmo Cricket range of Xmas papers..

A christmas day page, using October afternoon Christmas papers...I love october afternoon papers, definatly my favourite, I love every single range soooo much!

I cut these little gingerbread men from a sheet of paper from the range..

And lastly...here is a little snap of a project that I have been working on (using some of the resources in the pic at the start of this post) for a birthday present for a family member...I really like it..sort of want to keep it for myself! May have to make another one! I have seen a couple like this before that other scrappers have made and wanted to have a go!

My next project is a couple of cards for work using the same materials/theme/colours as the frame above...watch this space for the results!

..My Week..

Well this week we have had a few things going on...and lots of scrapping for me!

Lee has had this week off..mainly because he had lots of time off to use up and we had a few busy ish days.

Monday was pretty quite, but, on Tuesday we looked after Lees nephew Brandon for the day and night! We had a nice day though, Jack really loves him coming to play. We also took them to our local park...

A shot at the end of the day, with two tired boys!

Here are a few layouts that I have been working on (a couple from last week and a couple early this week)..

On Wednesday I worked as usual and came home to dinner on the table (lovely and very unusual) as I was going out to a workshop at Papermaze..to make a snow page...
Thank you Wendy for a lovely evening and georgous page, I love it!

On Thursday during the day we had a delievry from ikea of Jacks new wardrobe and chest of draws, they look really good..but at the expense of my toe..as DIY expert Lee dropped the chunky piece of wood on my foot! Owwchhh, it still hurts now and I have been limping around for the last couple of days..bad times!
On Thursday evening I had to go out in the evening again, but this time for work, a Safeguarding children course. Not the nicest of courses but lots of important information and not actually boring at all! :)
Lastly today was the Crop day at Otley :D..one of my faourite Saturdays of the month. A chance to scrapbook and chat and shop..and we certinally DID shop..speading quite alot of money..but it was 20% off this month, may as well make the most of it!
This layout was todays kit..I did it a little differently than Vanessa did it, just moving bits around and using 2 pics instead of 1...(sorry about bad lighting..only just taken the pic)
One of the layouts I completed..

This was the Christmas challenge kit...with all of the lovely bits ond pieces this is what I created..you should be able to see it and some of the other layouts on the scrap paper sissors blog soon...

Lastly..this is the lovely selection of bits that I got my hands on today...sooo love punches...got three today..

Thanks for looking, enjoy the rest of your weekends x

Last week my cuttlebug machine arrived, after what had seemed like forever of waiting! I managed to get it a bit cheaper in the sale with my Christmas money! Very happy with it..can't wait to start playing with it...

I have completed a few new pages latley, which I have yet to take pics of..I have also been making some Christmas thank you cards (very unlike me) but they turned out ok!
I also took part in the Scrapbook Nook's blog hop last night, their kits are really lovely, fingers crossed that I can win one of them! :D
Tonight I am off to my friends house for a girly night..luckily she is only round the corner in this weather! Looking foward to my pizza!

This next one features Jenni Bowlin Bingo cards - http://www.papermaze.co.uk/customer/product.php?productid=31465

2010...and some new Layouts...

Happy New Year!!!

Last night we went over to Solar Bowl to celebrate New Years. We had a lovely evening - although I did very poorly with my bowling scores, even getting beaten by a 3 year old in the first game!

Im really loving not being at work over the xmas period at the mo..lots of free time to scrapbook and see friends and family more often. Back next week tho, but will be nice to see everyone again!

Here are a few pages that I have been working on... (all for my Majorca holiday album)
