My Minds Eye ~ Little Boy Blue

I've had the new Mind Minds Eye Papers for a few weeks now, some of the ranges I have used and some I am yet to use. They are all sooo lovely!
Today I am going to show you a page that I made the other day using the little boy blue range.
I used a professional picture of Jack that I have had for a few months, but have been waiting for the right papers to use. He had this photo done at nursery in October last year, we got the pictures in time for Christmas and used them for presents!
I really love the picture so I wanted to make sure that I created a page that I loved just as much, so here it is...

I've finnished work until next week now, so a lovely long weekend off! Tomorrow I am going to Capture the Magic with some of my scrapbooking friends and then we are spending the rest of the day scrapbooking! So Im looking foward to the next few days! Hope you have a lovely Easter!

Crop Weekend Kit..

So yesterday, I created the kit that the Bucklesham ladies will be using at our scrapping weekend away in May...seems a little way off, but I'm sure it will come around very quickly!
It is quite a bright spring/summery page..I have used the 'flutter' range of papers by Making Memories..such lovely papers..there is also some flowers and butterflys and a little bit of stitching involved. Lets hope they like it! So here is a sneak at it....

Crop Day

So yesterday was the papermaze crop day...and here I am with the pages that i made...
This was my first page, it is my February month page for my year book...I do one of these pages for each month, this year I am using the Jenni Bowlin Calendar cards along with a few pictures that highlight the month. Last year all of my month pages were all quite the same, so this year I am aiming to make them all as different as possible!

This was my second page, which I'm really happy with. I scraplifted this page from a really lovely one that Wendy had created. Similar page layout, but different range of paper and a few things changed...

This was my third and final page that I made. Three pages is about right for me at a crop day. So im pleased with that.
I used the new Pink Paislee papers..

And a new Jillibean Soup stamp..(seriously cute by the way!)..which I then added some rhinestones to.

Lastly I am going to show you the crop kit, which was very pink and quite vintage looking..so I decided to use an old picture of me, which seemed to match quite nicely. I started this page last night and finnished it today.

Thanks for looking! X

Happy Mothers Day!

Well today it's Mothers Day so happy mothers day to all of the mummy's out there in blog world! I have enjoyed my day..which started by having these lovely gifts brought to me in bed from Jack with a cuddle and a kiss :)

We spent the morning at home finnishing my scrapbooking room off! There are a few bits left to do, but so far so good - but I can work in it now so thats the main thing!
Later we went off to my mum and dads for dinner, where we had a little photo shoot! Its sooo hard to get good pictures of Jack as he wont sit still longer than 2 seconds let alone smiling at the camera. In the end I did get a few good ones, but not brilliant of me! Never mind!

Forcing a kiss!!

A shot of me and my Mum..

I took these pictures, with a page design in mind. So we will see how that goes!
Today I have also been looking at *this* scrap a go go are doing a teaching day not too far from where I live, so I have been looking into going to that! I bet it would be a fab day!
Lastly, a shot of the newist addition to my scrapbooking room - I really needed more storage so this is what I came up with...

Thanks for looking - must get scrapping this week!

No Scrapping Im Affraid...

...I wish I could say different I really do! But it's not my fault..my working space is currently under construction.
Yes, It's being decorated and re shuffled..I do get bored of my rooms easily and like to have a change around every now and then. So as we are currently decorating and my scrap room was next on the list..it seemed like the perfect oppertunity.
As you can see today it is half done, but hopfully will be finnished tomorrow - the painting that is, I do still have a few things that I would like to change in terms of storage, so that will probably take a few more weeks to sort out! I will post the finnished result!

Everything moved on to the table...no space to work!!

Jack is finally feeling alot better now. So today we went for a little walk at a nearby lake, with play areas. We brought Jack's cousin Brandon with us, they love spending time together!
A happy chappy - so good to see after this week!

Thanks for looking..be back soon with some scrapping!
And a very Happy Mothers day to all of you Mummy's out there! Im looking foward to my second Mothers day! xx

Tuesday 9 March 2010

Its soo horrible seeing Jack so poorly...hes no better today unfortunatly and I think it will still be a few days before he is back to normal and I really can not wait for that moment!!
He has been spending alot of time sleeping, which has given me time to get various things done - including this page that I made yesteday afternoon.
It have recently started to go back to pictures of Jack to update his album as I am pretty much up to date on my other current albums.
This picture was taken last year (well nearly a year ago now!) I had just got my new camera and I was taking pictures like crazy! I really liked these ones of him in his little garden area playing with bubbles. I also really can't wait for it to be warm enough for this kind of picture as well!
I used bella blvd papers to make this page - I really like this range of papers but I wish they were double sided.
I also used some windmills on this page...

Hopefully my little man will be back to normal very soon!

Spot the difference?

I really should be blogging more often..i really don't know where this week has gone, I seem to have been really busy, but I'm not really sure what i've been doing? lol
Mainly working and decorating this week and today looking after a poorly baby boy - he has this sickness bug that seems to be everywhere at the moment!
I have had a few crafty moments in my scrapbooking room this week...firstly in my last post I showed you a layout that I had completed last weekend and I wasn't entirely happy with it...well I had a little play and...can you spot the difference??
Before..
After..

Basically I added some bling and butterflys using the Martha Stuart Butterfly punch. A few more circles ubove the photo and a retro flower behind the pins. I think it just makes it look right to me..so thats it..its done!!

Lastly, I am going to show you another page that I have completed this week. It was using the kit from the papermaze crop a few weeks ago. I did it fairly differently to how the kit instructions showed you to. As I wanted to make it more fitting for this picture of Jack as oppose to a more romance themed page.
Hopefully Jack will be over this bug soon, so we can get back to normal and I hate seeing him so poorly.
Thanks for stopping by - Be back soon Anna xx

Monday 1 March 2010

Hope you have all had a lovely weekend - I have had a great weekend! With lots of scrapbooking, decorating, a pamper evening and a meal out. Firstly I just wanted to share this picture of us, taken on Saturday evening before we headed out for our meal..its definatly my new favourite picture. I brought Jack the pink shirt last week, I love it and think he looks very cute! Lee wasn't too impressed! lol!

In my last post I mentioned that I was going to a pamper party, for a friend at works birthday. It was a great night! A really girly evening. For my treatment I choose to have a manicure...

I was in charge of taking lots of pictures, as Danielle has asked me to make a little scrapbook of the evening for her. I am going to make an album myself using chipboard covers and book rings. This way I can add as many of few pages as I like...never made an album myself before, so we will see how it goes! I am going to get the pictures printed this week and then start work on it, hopefully it will only take me a few weeks. I will keep you posted!

All of us - looking very relaxed and pampered!
On Saturday it was the crop day at Bucklesham. The kits went down really well thankfully!

Here is the full page LO that I couldn't show on here before..

There is a mini book on this page and lots of embelishments..it uses the love struck range. For those who brought the kit...I would appriciate any feedback!

And on Saturday these were the two pages that I created. Not 100% sure about either of them to be honest...

I wanted to scrap a page of my recent achievment of being in the Scrapbook Trends mag! I used the new Cosmo Cricket ~ material girl range - which I thought would be perfect..I also brought the die cuts from this range, which are really lovely to use. I do like the page, but it is a bit bolder than I would normally do, which is why i'm a bit unsure..it might just take a bit of getting use to! lol!

This was the second page that i made on Saturday at the crop. I like it as it is at the moment and I am calling it finnished but it doesnt look quite there to me, but I ran out of inspiration! Maybe I will come back to it to see if I can add anything else to it. But for now its a finnished page!

I used Bo Bunny ~ love bandit papers to create this page and the heart is made using accetate.

Im sooo glad its March now, especially if we are going to have lovely sunny weather like today! Bring on the spring/summer and lots of bright happy pictures to scrap!
Thanks for looking! x
